Gamasutra released new stats from GameTrailers showing the big games of E3. I expected Halo Reach to be near the top of the list but when the list was released I was truly shocked. Halo Reach infact was number 11. Gametrailers polled to see which games gamers were going to buy right out of the gate. So which Nintendo titles beat off Halo Reach?

1. In 2nd place was Donkey Kong Country Returns, it was beat by Assasins Creed Brotherhood.

2.Kirby Epic Yarn was fourth place and was beat out closely by Call Of Duty Black Ops

3.Golden Eye was number seven being beaten out by Microsoft's Gears and Portal 2. But still GoldenEye actually beat Halo :Reach thats impressive.

4. One of the most suprising LOZ:SkywardSword was actually beat out by those three other Nintendo titles. But it was in a close 8th to Golden Eye.

Isn't it amazing that the four big Nintendo exclusives actually beat Microsoft's biggest gun (Halo: Reach). Sure I know that their will be a ton of people purchasing Reach but according to these stats Microsoft is going to have a run for its money against Nintendo.

Also notice Dance Central and the other Kinect games never made the list. Nintendo clobbered Microsoft completely. Only one of their titles made the top ten. Ouch.

So what do you think are these stats realistic, will Nintendo clean house this Christmas or will Reach have a chance?

No offence, but that means 0.

I expect them to mean absolutely nothing, because LBP2 is going to sell nowhere near as much as Halo: Reach.  I mean just look at the top spot, you don't expect Assassin's Creed Brotherhood to kick the shit out of Legend of Zelda and Call of Duty sales do you?

Thats true I don't know how this was tallied but at least it shows their is alot of interest in Nintendo's line-up that is not their for Halo:Reach and Gears!

Odd, because Reach is probably going to crush everything above it on that list except Black Ops. DKCR is an outside possibility, too, given the apparent rapacious hunger for co-op side-scrollers on Wii

Well, what I'm wondering is how people would prefer to play Gears 3 over Halo Reach.
