Forums - Gaming - StarCraft Ghost Back?

So now that Blizzard & Activision have jumped into bed together ...

Are we looking at the revival of StarCraft Ghost ... I mean, Infinity Ward just finished Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and that was awesome ... so ...

Lets just speculate for a moment and think, would Blizzard be happy to hand over the console development of Starcraft Ghost to Infinity Ward?

I mean the Next-Gen game consoles are finally out and they have the processing power and graphics capability to create a game that would allow it to bring the best of the StarCraft Universe.

Blizzard doesn't let anyone else develop their games... Add to that that Blizzard only releases games when they believe they are near perfect and you have a NO.

I think if Blizzard released SC: Ghost back in 2005-2006 it would have gotten 8.5'ish grades... That ain't high enough for Blizzard's standards.

And even though i'd want it (BAD)... I think it would be unwise to believe it would be pulled back up from the dept of the cancelled game graveyards...

EDIT: Read the Q&A about Blizzard(Vivendi) fusing with Activision... Nothings gonna change development wise... They don't 'trade' their dev-teams etc... They keep in-house development... That further underlines my NO on your question.

THE NETHERLANDS

i think blizzard will still develope all there games

Uh, Starcraft: Ghost was never being developed by Blizzard. The first developer when the game was announced was Nihilistic; the project was later taken over by Swingin' Ape Studios, makers of Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (which is a great game) before ultimately being cancelled.
