doubt that, the first two was on the ps2 why would 3 skip the ps3 lol?

Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation Titles

Square-Enix has confirmed that although none of the titles will have relating storylines, they will share the same crystal mythology. Square-Enix has described the plot as all the games taking places in the same universe but being based on seperate worlds (metaphorically obviously). They've also stated that the Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation is expected to span over many years. Although only three titles have been announced to date, others are planned to be released. A patent for the title "Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII" has been filed to the US Patent Office with no announcement.

During a Square-Enix board meeting, a diagram comparing the Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation to the Final Fantasy VII Compilation was shown. This was later leaked to Game Informer. It shows that Square-Enix have another three titles planned for the compilation which are unannounced to the public at this time.

So, that means that there will be 3 more Final Fantasy XIII games O_O

Because, putting it politely, PS3 isn't exactly in the same position as PS2 was.  The first six Final Fantasies were on Nintendo systems, why wouldn't FFVII be on N64?

yea but it doesn't mean that kh3 won't be on ps3 does it? did ff13 skip the ps3? nope.

FFXIII started development before PS3 was even available.  And on top of that, PS3 still lost the exclusive thanks to it's lower market performance.  

KH3 hasn't started development yet even.  Also, where did Dragon Quest go?

I bet it's a new Front Mission. Square seems to be experimenting with the franchise, and with Front Mission: Evolved being a third-person shooter, this seems like a perfect time to make a game about wanzers that suffer from self-esteem problems and sulk in the corner.

wow I can't believe thie is even a debate, there is no reason for kh3 to skip the ps3 or the 360 just for 3ds.

Why would it???

It would be a big mistake because as myself.....theres alot of ex ps2 owners that have moved on to a different console

So by doing that move it would alienate millions of other potential buyers!!!!

At the rate Nomura's going, I'd actually say PS4 is more likely than PS3.

Though the reason to go 3DS would be pretty obvious: sales.
