Forums - Sony - Home Stats: 250k people checked out the E3 booth + Toy Story 3 space

The userbase could be a zillion and 3/4, that still doesn't detract from the fact that 250,000 is a lot of people.

Talking about PR spin. lol  You could say selling 250,000 copies of a game is alot, but considering the userbase it really is'nt. Same applies here. Home is a complete failure plain and simple. It's okay to be wrong every once in awhile. lol

1/4 of a million in only a few days? Okay, hit me with it. What in your opinion would be a "good" number then?

just let it go. I'm out of this thread.

Well, if you're gonna argue 250,000 isn't enough, the least you can do is point to what you think is a good number.

to me, this is no different to saying there are 6.5billion people in the world, but only 75million bought a Wii, therefore the wii fails cuz you know...the world has a large install base so everyone should be buying a Wii.

Everyone knows that the PS3 caters to a VERY diverse market who like completely different things from one person to the next, why people are always surprised when something doesn't do a zillion in 10mins is beyond me.

You assume that every ps3 owner is online, uses Home and rushes to every new space released on Home on day one, I for one I'm an avid user of Home but even I didn't use it till about a week after the E3 space was released.

I maintain, anything attracting 1/4 million of people in a few days is an achievement regardless of how many people the "potential" it has to reach. This is why I say 250,000 is an achievement.

I think Sony only did a small thing for GC, I hope it's bigger this year.

250k is low? you might not be trolling or flaming but you are just simply wrong.. 250'000 people is alot..

It's not really that much considering the user base.

Stop the spin, it is a BIG figure when you consider people believe PS Home has failed.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

pretty funny how I consider this figure huge and others just call it a low numer.. did it need 2 million people to impress you? wtf? I thought Home was a failed concept and noone ever used it.. then how is 250k people little
