It's not entirely surprising, but I still wouldn't rule out the US getting just before the end of the year. If they can possibly get it out before Christmas, I'm sure they will, even if it's just in limited numbers.

hmm.. personally i thought and was actually hoping it'd be out sometime 2011 holiday season. nintendo need not be hasty over releasing the system. 1) DS is still selling quite well 2) DSi and especially DSi XL has not been around the market that long and 3) wait for competition's counteraction to it so that Nintendo can have their own countermeasures and implement some more functions or features
plus, it may eat up some of DS's sales
