And not many casual gamers watch E3 press conferences....pre-orders should pick up soon.

Very true.  And as many want to point out that Reach's pre-orders will explode after ads start airing, I'm sure GT5 numbers will rise when Sony starts it GT5 ad campaign, as well.  It is there biggest franchise, so I doubt they're just going to lightly promote it.  Plus, you have to figure many may be  waiting for the inevitable PS3 bundle.  And does anyone know how large the pre-order numbers were for previous entries in the GT series?  Something tells me GT's sales probably don't depend as highly on pre-order numbers as other series may.

These charts do not include over a week from E3.  The last date was June 19th.  That was only 4days after Sony's conference.  Not saying pre-orders will explode next week, but I could do the same for Halo: Reach.  "It's been over a week since MS's conference (actually only 5 days) and Halo actually went down in pre-orders compared to last week."

You're the same guy that frequently visited the PS3 game pages during VGC 2.0 to comment on how "disappointing" sales were, and says "Thats good sales" for 360 titles that have sold similiar (or less) amounts.

You thinking GT5 will flop in America is no surprise.

Pre-orders pick up near release date, unless the game in question is an absolute behemoth. GT5 will sell very well in America, but it will not be as big as CoD or Halo.

In Europe, thats a whole other scenario. I'm willing to bet pre-orders are MUCH higher in Europe.

Based on the SOCOM 4 pre order figures and considering that SOCOM 4 sells best in the US by far, do you think believe in your sig?

Yeah pre orders haven't picked up in Japan or in the US for GT5 despite a release date and plenty of new info. Sony should be worried.

EA have revealed a lot of exclusive stuff for PS3, huh.... Oh and I wouldn't be surprised if Dead Space 2 ended up having higher pre-orders for PS3 nearing release. That also has PS3 exclusive content.

They should add PS Move support to Dead Space 2. And no, I don't want to play Dead Space Extraction at all.
