OT: Although I'm extremely excited for this title, I don't think these scans put it at that staus. Furthermore, I don't think it will achieve that staus, but then again, it doesn't need/have to.

Nomura says they are making the graphics even better from what we're seeing now. So I'm gonna say yes.

Even if FF13 didnt have as many polygons as UC2 or God of War 3, etc. imo it still looked better because of the artisitic quality and the variety of the visuals. i mean there was 50 hours of scenecy packed in there compared to 12 hours in UC2, so its no supprise if UC2 will be better than Versus.

but i will still prefer FF13 and Versus because of the artististic quality and the the aesthetic design choices, because they offer so much more over the space of the game imo.

Well, I think the game has a shot to be the best graphically in its own genre (RPG or whatever you call that kind of game nowadays - i.e. Cut-Scene Filled Archaic Battle Systems Adventure Games - CSFABSAG).  But I'm not saying this because of the scans, as they are mightly blurry and in no way represent the end result.  I'm saying it will because the KH team has a really good track record when it comes to visuals, and I don't see how Versus can realistically diverge from that route.

That being said, Final Fantasy XIII is indeed a graphics king in its own game genre.  Sharing the cup only with Mass Effect 2.
