Not bad for new IPs. 

And believe me, I've played most of the DS RPGs...  they're just not quite the same in terms of scale and spectacle, in most cases.  I'm not a subcriber to the whole "handheld rpgs means we don't need console RPGs any more" theory which I know has gotten popular lately :)

Maybe the 3DS can cause you to become a subscriber. I do agree, that I want more console JRPGs, but at the same time I am not that sad.

Damn, they announced a 352-page book that comes with a game. That is what I call an awesome add-on. 

Oh my God    That is incredible.  Apparently they didn't get the memo on printed manuals being dead (I know, it's a spellbook, which is way better anyway.)
