I recently saw a thread on here, in regards to a YouTube video saying the PS3 owns the 360 due to exclusives:

This video uses the normal tight definition of what is considered an exclusive.  It means that it is available in ONE spot only.  Well, I had thought Halo 3 and Halo Wars were exclusives, as there is no sign of them on the PC or any other console, but.... consider this:

There IS a Halo Wars boardgame!  So, if we are hardcore about what is or is not an exclusive, that means that Halo Wars isn't an exclusive to the 360, right?  Wow, this is perplexing... or maybe not.

No. That guy is a Microsoft fanboy, and his video is just a stealthy attempt to call Halo Wars a true exclusive when it's clearly not.

there is nothing perplexing at all about this. the Halo Wars video game is exclusive to the 360 is all that means, not the Halo Wars brand. claiming it isn't exclusive to the 360 because there is a board game is as downright asinine as saying it isn't exclusive to the 360 because there will be Halo Wars action figures.  

it has nothing to do with the brand being available in only one spot, it is in regards to the specific product. 

Lol at the OP!  But really, it doesn't matter if the game is an Xbox Exclusive, a Console Exclusive, or a Microsoft Exclusive.  All that matters is that those punks that only own PS3's can't play them! 

LBP is on the PSP, but GT5 isn't.  The PSP has a Gran Turismo game, but it isn't GT5.

Anyhow, if a game comes out on a Slurpie cup, and the cup also has a game, should we also discount the game as a platform exclusive?  You know, a chance to also win a prize for getting the cup, that involves the game.

apparently it isn't that easy since some people don't quite grasp the very simple differnce between a product and a brand.  funny thing is, over-thinking is generally only done by people who aren't very good at thinkingto begin with, hence why such simple things as the difference between an exclusive product and the brand it is based on is complicated and confusing to them.

im pretty sure Killzone is on the PS2!
