- Astounding Visuals

- Armoury System

- Guildleve system which allows adventures to take part in quests. You can choose the difficult, and play the quest solo or in large groups for higher rewards!

- Game will run seamlessly to new areas. Except for a brief load once and awhile between regions.

- Huge story focus for a MMO.

These are some that come to mind.

Cool. Doesn't seem like an MMO for me, but I'm glad to see that it isn't stuck in the old ways at least.

Cool. Doesn't seem like an MMO for me, but I'm glad to see that it isn't stuck in the old ways at least.

:D Yeah it really is moving forward. and we get to have Nobuo back in this game! OMG!

Though Naoshi Mizuta did an AMAZING job on XI.

Iv been watching its production for some time. Right now, its biggest asset is its open world. But its also its biggest problem. I dont know if they have given themself the time needed to fill it up and make this epic.  Id be happy if they pushed  this back a year. I think they could use all the extra time.  Considering everything.  I mean they just added a ton of stuff to doo in FFXI.

I like alot of what FFXIV is trying to do. the quest meckanic, droping lvls for Skills Etc... Very intresting. But with the timeline they have ATM for launch, I think this game will be plagued with un-polished gameplay.

 

Yes im losing faith in MMo's.

Well hopefully XIV will bring your faith back!

Also they have crystals known as Aetheryte. These can be used to teleport too and from location. You just have to activate them first. I also believe you have to pay a small fee.



Lets hope the release date is announced at GAMESCOM or TGS!

When is GamesCom? August?

I expect the release date at TGS.

TGS will probably be all about XIV and Versus for Square.
