You can now get Dues Ex for $2.49 USD and the collection for $4.98 USD. I went ahead and got the collection. Even though the sequel is nowhere near as good as the original its still worth the extra 2.50 or so!

Deus Ex was universally considered the 2000 GOTY, and Best Game of the Decade by several magazines.

I got them, actually. I already have Deus Ex on disc somewhere, but I thought I might actually play it if I have it on Steam.

It's just silly buying the collection though. You save nothing on it. Nothing. Not a cent. Just purchase the games seperately if you want them both.

Wow, I think I just got it in the nick of time. I just went back to the storefront and the collection is back up to $20 again.

Bought both for $5. Lost my disk for the first one (and optical drive is loud) and never played the second. A good deal.

The second is a good game, but its no masterpiece like the original is.
