I downloaded the demo last night... WOW, didnt think it would be that fun :O I want NOW!!! damn limited demos

I enjoyed it as well.  Orb hunting is gonna waste my life away again.

MUST AVOID DEMO!  I am on like a very limited budget and I know that Crackdown 2 as a beefed up version of the original Crackdown will end up nagging me to get it... the way Alan Wake for $40 at Best Buy is nagging me now... if not worse.

Yea, it was way better than expected, I couldn't even realize it was the same city it was so different!

the orb hunting wasnt as fun IN the original imo, they have improved it and actually made the improvements much quicker, you had to get a lot more orbs in the original to be a awesome :p

and imo not just a beefed up version of the original, it will very much have its own legs imo

It was the same in the Crackdown 1 demo, they accelerate the level proccess because you only get 1/2 hour.

Actually there is a way to get unlimited time in the demo. I played for about 4 hours straight last night. There's also a way to cross the barrier but you need 2 players to do it.

1. Start the demo.
2. Choose your agent and his colour up until you press A to "deploy agent".
3. Disconnect from the internet. I personally pulled out the ethernet cable in the back.
4. Quickly press A after disconnecting from the internet. When trying to join the game is should pop up a menu saying that friends can't join because you're online or something.
5. Hit B to cancel.
6. Reconnect to the internet and start up another game.
7. Demo time remaining will be stuck at 30 minutes for as long as you don't start any races or things like that.

this demo didnt do much for me.  the demo for the first one made me go out and buy the game almost immediately after i played it.

I felt that way at first but it's much better when you don't have to worry about a time limit.
