XenoBlade is a system seller! It had a decent debut as well, much more than the 20k I feared for...I hope the Japan preview are wrong on it's second week though.

These numbers are sad

I just realized Lost Planet 2 has higher overall sales on ps3.  Odd considering the first sold >3:1 in favor of 360.

Well, the first one also launched a year earlier on 360.

I expect we'll see Dead Rising 2 similarly lead on PS3 in Japan sales wise.

The year of timed exclusivity usually leads to a larger fanbase on 360.  Bioshock 2 is 2:1 on 360 even though most shooters these days only sell 1.4:1 or so (like MW2 and BC2).  Lost Planet seems really unusual, but I guess it backs up the notion that ps3 owners are more apt to buy Japanese-y games.

Oh.  Well, I'd say that mainly attributable to LP2 bombing in the west, but improving in Japan, rather than any real demographic shift.  That sort of inherently works against 360.

Wow this weeks sales are pretty bad,  could possibly have 3 consoles under 100K
