Well, the first one also launched a year earlier on 360.

The year of timed exclusivity usually leads to a larger fanbase on 360.  Bioshock 2 is 2:1 on 360 even though most shooters these days only sell 1.4:1 or so (like MW2 and BC2).  Lost Planet seems really unusual, but I guess it backs up the notion that ps3 owners are more apt to buy Japanese-y games.
