From most reasonable expectations the Nintendo 3DS will launch within a year at a price around $200-$250 with games coming in at probably $30-$40. This means that you woudl buy a 3DS with a game on day one for about $300.

OR

IF you have a PS3 already, you could add a 2player setup for Move and a game for about the same price.($99 Move + $49Move(1) + $29subNavi(2) + $30-$60game.)

So, what would you do?

This is my burning question as I like the move idea from what I know FPS and TPS games are like on Wii. I would like some of these games on my PS3(RE5Gold as an example) and I know that the Move controller would significantly be better than the dual analog crapfest. However, I really want a 3DS based on what I know so far.

Considering that cost is about the same and I can already play those games on my PS3 without the Move controller, I'm leaning towards leaving the money for the 3DS. Just my opinion... curious what other viewpoints are.

I say move, i'm pretty sure nintendo will drop the price later on....can't be to sure about move. My opinion aside go with what you think will get more use.

At this stage, Move because it's more of a sure thing so until I know more about the 3DS (games, pricing, etc.) I'll refrain from buying for the time being.

Wait for more info from Nintendo (launch games, price, ect.) and weigh in how much you want to use motion controls for your PS3 to make your decision.

Presonally, I want the 3DS really, really, really badly, but I wouldn't know what you want more.

When was the last time nintendo ever dropped the price within a year? Also GC doesn't count
for obvious reasons

Try to get both. But I think your priority would be Move considering 3DS doesn't have a release date. But damn that Kid Icarus looks good.

You already have a Wii so that should satisfy your MC needs. If i was you I would go for the handheld and pick Move upa at a later date. That's is from a Sony fan who thinks the Move will be excellent as well...

One has a definite release date in the US.

They both have known line-ups.

I would wait until the date of Move release (if you are very serious about both of them) to see if we get more info on release date/price etc of the 3DS.  At that date we will also know more of upcoming games for both pieces of hardware. I have no doubt you could come to a very good conclusion of what to buy by this time.

I voted 3DS (both for myself and for you).  If your info is right, you do not have a portable gaming device and the 3DS sure as hell looks like a good place to start :)
