It has been confirmed it is backward compatible with the DSi...
If it's somewhere between the 250/300$ range, which is most likely a given, I'll bite at launch.

Yes almost certainly, with the exception of my PS3 and Game Boy Colour all the consoles I own I have bought on release date.

The only system I've ever bought at launch was the Wii and I must say, that experience only gives me confidence in getting a 3DS at launch.
I'll pre-order as soon as a price and launch date is set here in Australia.

Depends on the price. If its around $250 then I would rather buy myself another ps3.
If it's 199 day one, if it's 249 I will think about it (but likely yes), if it's more I'll wait....it depends also on which of the annouced games will be avaliable at launch and on how much I will be involved with wii and hd games by that time.
I am, but I have no need for two.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
