Forums - Gaming - PC World : Kinect is laggy,,Move is Precise

I was Browsing on PC World and came accross this article,,,which is their hands on time with both technologies:

" Microsoft's body-mapping Kinect camera revealed an experience premised on somewhat laggy, clearly casual-angled motion-tracking, playing with Sony's Move wands and smaller propulsion-oriented sub-controller was like upgrading to high fidelity."

"Sony seems to have the lag-free precision-tracking parts down pat, arguably better than either of its competitors. Its challenge: Producing more than just one or two games (including retroactively upgraded ones like Heavy Rain) worthy of the technology when it launches on September 19."

RE5

Soccom 4

MGS:Rising

Seems to echo what we already know pretty much. Sony do have the toughest sale though, and I'm curious to see just how they're gonna manage it.

APE ESCAPE!

Until E3, I had heard nothing, absolutely NOTHING that made me interested in Move in the slightest.

Having just gotten through a Marathon Harry Potter movie session with my younger sister, in anticipation for the upcoming movie, Sorcery just struck a cord with me.  I loved it and that is the only thing that might get me to buy a move.  Retro upgrades to older games, newer games that still have DS3 support, does not make me interested in Move in the slightest.

Games that are upgraded to better control schemes do not make you interested? Just saying, according to IGN, SOCOM 4 is better with Move than with DS3 after all.

And what about the games that don't support the DS3 then?

Exactly.most shooter would enjoy from the upgrade especially if it really is precise

I prefer my shooters on the PC.  There are only a few Ive ever bothered playing on any console, so that does not interest me.  Not saying it is not good for you and others, It is just personal preference.

Of all the "Move Only" games the only one that has ever interested me is Sorcery (as I said).

I loved Heavy Rain, but will adding Move Support magically make me buy a Move? No

Move ape escape = me going all out

I prised up how much it would be for me to get an PS eye. A sub controller and to Move controllers.

It works out i can get a 2nd hand Wii from a shop 4 that much

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

There probably is a thread about this already but to make matters worse, IGN and kotaku are reporting that the kinect is not playable while sitting down, not even navigating menus. I think thats a failure if u have to stand up to navigate the menus or watching movies. It also kinda takes a way from the immersion that you would get when playing a game like Forza, because driving while standing up is unheard of.

Anyways, Kinect is still months from launching so all of these kinks will probably be ironed out.

i told people from time. Kinect = eye toy.

From the games swe have seen it shows that. The only people who say dif are the M$ faithfulls

hmmm... random thought as I type, ICO/SotC HD with move support yay or nay? (never played either)

Aside from Sorcery, there's no real reason for me to get a Move. All the games I want for it, have the option to not play with move.

Motorstorm:A

GT5

LBP2

RE5:GE

that's about it really...

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
