When technology improves it will be possible, but then those new 3d tvs will cost a fortune, and by that time we would have found out if the content in 3d tvs would be worth it at all. there might be visual eye candy like avatar, but if it's only the games that give a unique quality and other mediums fail in delivering (tv and movies) then i would say flip a coin because buddy, no one can really tell right now. :)
