I think it'll outsell Uncharted 2. GoW III is gonna overtake Uncharted 2 this week in America.

I expect huge sales for GoW III this holiday.

Uncharted 2 got a boost due to the platinum version release in Europe.

Unless ofcourse by GoW 3, you meant Gears..In that case theres no need to wonder...

Yes and these are the sales from only two days. MG2 arrived on 11 June in Europe.

So is it for every other game released in Europe. They all release on Friday. Most of the time.

Edit: about the numbers, curious, I expected Wii to grow in Italy WoW, as finally the biggest chains applied the official price cut to 199€ advertised by Nintendo some weeks ago on Wii plus WS WSR WMPlus bundle (previously here you could find it ranging from 229€ to its full 249€ list price).

Edit 2: about Mario Galaxy 2, maybe launching it a week later in EU was a mistake, it always is wasting a late Spring week when Summer approaches and people start dropping TV and video games to go to the sea or living in open air in general.

SMG2 sooo close to a 1.5million WW first week. Ah well...

so 30k gap again for this week and next week??

since the week after that XBox 360 S drops and for the first time in months and this year the Xbox 360 will outsell the PS3 worldwide. i predict a 200k gap.

^ This. I think EU sales of quite a number of Wii games have sufferred severely from not being launched at the same time in NA and Others. While maybe not doubling or trippling their sales, had there been a worldwide launch (or at least Western World launch) sales of quite a number of Wii games (especially well reviewed ones) might have looked differently in EU.
