Forums - Sales - EMEAA Up!

UC2 sales bumped up to 14k due to platinum release !

GoW III - disappointing legs at 7 k... I thought it'd do better after seeing the enormous 47k it pulled off during the launch of the collection a few weeks back.

Hopefully it'll reach 1 million in Europe within the year and 3 million worldwide

Dear god the 360 is getting worked....MS couldn't have picked a better time for a console redesign.

SMG2 sales make me sad.

Serves Nintendo right for not having a worldwide launch. The hype died weeks ago.

No too sassy for 360, looking forward to the price cut/slim boost.

It's not really a price cut, it's a clearance sale.

But yeah that, along with the new model, should boost the sales for the 360. I expect a bigger boost in the US though.

I think that some people were holding back for E3 awaiting announcement of new hardware all around, be it the smaller chip in PS3, XBox slim rumors or PSP2 rumors. We should see atleast a tiny increase over the next couple of weeks. Now I'm just interested to see if Nintendo killed the DS with 3DS announcement.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

The DS sells 250 thousand units a week. Nothing interesting. It's been in the number 1 spot since launch.

Generally in the past we've never seen any changes in numbers before/after E3. E3 is largely ignored by the wider market.

Last year June/July the consoles were constantly within 10k of each other for all 8 weeks ie (360 was 100k - 110k)

Yeah of course I'm expecting a spike, previous E3's havn't had anything happen with immediate
effect. So any announcements there, however big, have had little impact.

However, slim is an immediate thing, so it'll have impact.

This goes for GT5 in Europe when the slim launchs there and the discounted models.

Uncharted has huge legs, I wonder if GOW3 will outsell it O.o
