Forums - Nintendo - Hey is Cammie

For a second there i thought you meant Cammie did Navi's voice. It would have finally made sense.

Okay, I don't care how much Mr. Ramsoomair dislikes Dunnaway. That strip is offensive on a lot of levels. It pisses me off.

Then you probably hate awesome stuff like this:

The thing was the context it looked like the comic was about. That poster is just trying too hard to be offensive.

How is the comic even about Cammie? It's (obviously) about Cooking Mama, and how that and it's subsidiary games (i.e. Gardening Mama) put women in stereotypical homemaker roles instead of empowering women.

The way it was put in the thread made it look like VG Cats made about Cammie. I haven't followed the comic in a long while, so I thought the context was about her.

Now I realize that the OP merely, possibly, meant it that way, and that I still find offensive.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

@OP and some answers:

There are 100 kinds of people:

- those that understand Ramsoomair's humour

- those that understand binaries

- those that can both

- those that can't any of them

But even so, the comic (even if the OP was trying to use it maliciously) is (a) more critical of the blatant misogyny of executives who greenlight the 'Mama' games and (b) incredibly absurd and done in a cartoony artstyle about a fictional chibi character. How can you find it offensive?

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

It was the malicious use of the OP in relation to Cammie, not the strip as I now know it is.

Why so oversensitive about her? Mocking PR people, even in quite rude ways, is universally considered an acceptable behaviour.

It's so creepy how she's so cheerily talking about how the PSP is fucked up the butt sideways. Without mentioning it by name, of course.

Creepy and kinda hot.

The problems of the comic comes in with blaming Nintendo for abusing Cooking Mama, and not Taito/Majesco

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
