Because when I do decide to SLI, the 480 scales like a beast. For example, in Call of Pripyat you get over 100% gain in FPS with SLId 480s.

I do not accept the Intel/Nvidia combo, but other than that it's a great comp.

Ahh, I guess I never got the idea of going SLI. Its not me, I'd rather get a cheaper mainstream board and put the money towards a newer GPU rather than one more of the same. Anyway, good luck on your SLI, may you find a game which tests your hardware.
