Those two problems are a non-issue.

People complain about the glasses because it gives 15% of the population headaches, and other complain because it puts something between you and the screen, cost money, and only one person at a time can use them.

You say people would have to wear them over their glasses and then say that the solution is contact lenses? Why not just wear contact lenses in the first place lol?

Unless Sony is cooking something very original to be released in one year from now, I would forget the portable console thing and go for a multiple use machine with mobile phone capability.

Honestly, I think Sony's best bet for PSP now is to throw it to Ericsson for a collaborative integration into their phone line.  Low cost adaptation could give PSP a second lifecycle, and I'm sure game makers would be thrilled to have the opportunity to sell in their wares to a new audience.  Have a variety of models, with a variety of features, at a variety of pricepoints, but maintain your one games standard and I think it could probably do pretty well.

They could even do system wide upgrades in the transition (touchscreen, 2nd analog, processor upgrades) so long as it's fully backwards compatible with the old software (which could be resold digitally).  Think kind of along the lines of GameCube to Wii for an upgrade path.

No, it's from an episode called, "The Game" where Riker brings back this game while on leave and gets everyone hooked on it. Turns out it actually has mind-control properties... and 3D graphics! LOL

what's your problem? first with that wizard game is supposedly better than the zelda demo, and now an imaginary PSP2 is "the 3DS killer!!!1"

"killer" this and "better" that.. why do you keep making such annoying threads? what ARE you trying to accomplish with making threads like these?

Nothing was never doomed to start with, PSP just doesn't sell as well lol. I'm sure PSP2 will do OK.
