Forums - Sony - After Nintendo 3DS info release :should Sony put their ip's on 3DS

Look at this way.

Nintendo IPs constantly make more money than Sony IPs.

It makes 100% sense for Sony to put their games on Nintendo platforms and keep the money. They get more money and keep their IPs.

I see no place where my logic falters.

Also, they wouldn't have to waste money developing and marketing expensive hardware that probably costs more to make than they sell it for.

....you know what. I bet the only reason Sony hasn't already done this is because Nintendo won't let them, lol....I'm just talking about the PSP here.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

No, for the moment Sony should just divert those resources to make PS3/PSN games. Once it's clear that a PS4 is not going to be worth it they can become an exclusive third party developer for all Nintendo platforms.

what if they decided on Microsoft instead..lol

That would be a huge mistake. You see, Sony's games are very similar to Microsoft's and I am afraid that Sony just can't compete. They wouldn't face the same problem by making games exclusively for Nintendo.

aah, i gotcha so even Microsoft cannot compete..well what about is if Sony decided to support a

Google GAME CONSOLE!

LOL..all the Ad space belong's to Google..lol

Once upon a time Sony was a third party publisher making games for Nintendo. It's about time that things go full circle.

Yeah sure, it's not like Nintendo giving away their hardware secrets to Sony has ever hurt them.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

MS did it with Viva Pinata, don't see why Sony can't.

You might have a point there. I agree, it was stupid on Nintendo's part to let Sony be in the know on how the soundchip of the SNES worked.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

What the fuck is this shit???

Oh yes. They should. After that, make some Wii games and have interconnectivity between the Wii and 3DS versions of games. If that goes smoothly, they could drop PS2, 3, 4 and P all together and go 3rd pa... fuck...

... it's a joke thread, isn't it? T_T

Tell me what it is then, just to make sure.

Around 1987 he would begin researching synthesizer sound and PCM, or pulse code modulation, a type of sound generation that samples and reproduces sounds by means of digital signal processing. Up to this point, the commonplace technique was frequency modulation, FM. Kutaragi found that the sound produced by the Sony PCM generator was several times better than FM, and thus began to pitch a sales proposal to Nintendo. At first, Nintendo was reluctant to switch to PCM because all existing Famicom software assets were FM-based.

Nonetheless, PCM proved to be superior to FM with respect to software flexibility as well; the PCM format held for greater potential for software innovation, a crucial factor in game-machine design [Asakura]. Nintendo ultimately adopted Kutaragi’s proposal, which quickly led to a close relationship between the two companies.
