Forums - Gaming - Homefront Highly Controversial Story Trailer (lol wut?)

Least plausible story ever. Thing is, they would make it about China, but China is actually kind of scary. North Korea has no ability to project power... all it has are masses of troops and old technology.

I'd like to see a game where the US goes on a conquering spree, and the free peoples of "insert any other country here" are the last to remain free.

mmm now that is a game I would like to see it would be Australasia vs the UCA (United Countries of America) and you would play as a New Zealand SAS operative like this guy ( http://militaryhistory.suite101.com/article.cfm/corporal_bill_henry_willie_apiata_vc ) it would be awesome we would be the rebel alliance and the UCA would be the Empire.

300 million Americans, a billion odd Europeans, over 5000 nuclear missiles, the best stocked armes forces in the entire world, a fully functional missile destruction system and a neutral China against... 25 million people, not very much of an army, and no nuclear weaponry?

Pretty one sided.

EDIT: The rebels never would have defeated the Empire without Ewoks, anyway.

i really dig the story of the game and since they are very focused on atmosphere and immersion of the world like in Metro 2033 it's a on my buy list. when they've been doing walkthrough of one level of the game  on gamespot it felt so much like Metro 2033, but less depressing and with better graphics, level design and actually good shooting mechanics.

i would get that if it would not be released in february when Bulletstorm and Brink will be released. though it looks like more than just online shooter with tackled on singleplayer campaign like last Kaos game - one online shooter at a time and i'm more interested in Brink because of its objective focus.
