I just remembered the helicopter missions from the SNES original. They were cool, but HARD! Weren't they? That's what I recall, anyway...

The combat helicopter missions in Pilotwings 64 were also sweet.

I never played either and want the N64 one to come to VC so that I may buy it. If the game comes out, even if THQ makes it suck, it at least means that the N64 version should come to VC! So, I am happy, either way.

I imagine both games will come to VC eventually, Nintendo developed the first in-house and owns the IP.

I remember how we got a kick out of skydiving and not opening up our chute. Never got old. Anyways I think this game could have potential if it has some online capabilities. Hangliding with some friends would be sweet. That said, Nintendo really needs to push the envelope when it comes to the graphics for this game. A new engine needs to be built around this game.

Ugh are you serious THQ? I don't think they've made one game I liked. Do they have any good games? I hope Nintendo holds their hand throughout development if that is the case.

Oh, I have plenty of doubt at Gamestop's listing. I do think that a Wii Pilotwings could eventually exist though, whether it's sooner or later.

I want Kid Icarus AND Pilotwings.

This sounds logical, though there's no substantial proof. But there's been rumors about it since Wii launched, and the whole THQ theory sounds completely plausible to me.
