Last night at the end of Nintendo's roundtable a person asked about Pikmin and Miyamoto responded with this:
"We showed a lot of great games and I was afraid Pikmin would get lost in the mess. Rest assured, we're working on Pikmin, but please don't make that the number one story of the evening."
That is Great news for me but I am now wondering with that comment it sounds to me as if he could have shown it but didnt because of stuff like the 3.D.S,Zelda, and Donkey Kong. It is done enough for it to have been shown which to me means it will be out by the end of 2011 without a doubt which is still far away but I guess I got to live with it. It also could mean a later announcment after E3 hype goes down and it may be ready for Summer 2011 or 1st half 2011 with Zelda and Mario Sports Mix. Miyamoto himself said it was on Wii but that was last year and it could now be a Wii, 3DS, or Next Nintendo console but I still say it should be on Wii.
Honestly nobody knows:
Game Story, Game Art direction, Characters, Console/handheld, or Release date but at least we now know again that its still coming.
