pretty much this. I say expand on the pspgo. keep providing new games and give people a reason to buy it with great exclusives. Otherwise, they need to find a new niche for psp2.

I agree with both those points to a certain extent.  Does anyone else here think that it might  be palpable for Sony to make games for the 3DS and discontinue the PSP series?

No. Much as I don't like it, it has its market, it's the only portable that defied Nintendo and, although losing, didn't fare horribly, it's instead in the Top 10 selling systems of all times.

Obviously Sony must correct some marketing errors now and a lot more design and marketing errors if and when it will make a PSP2, but for a system that did so many things wrong, it fared quite well.

My first thought is yes, but Sony could have some ideas to create a new model that can "fight" against the 3DS.
