No. Much as I don't like it, it has its market, it's the only portable that defied Nintendo and, although losing, didn't fare horribly, it's instead in the Top 10 selling systems of all times.
Obviously Sony must correct some marketing errors now and a lot more design and marketing errors if and when it will make a PSP2, but for a system that did so many things wrong, it fared quite well.
