Nothing is AAA until it launches and gets the reviews in my view, but I guess when advertising you have to make clear you're aiming to make a AAA game.

I liked Alan Wake but if I was Remedy I'd really, really think about going multi-plaform on this.  In the current market, unless you've got backing (which admitedly they might from MS) then I'd think very carefully about staying exclusive when you don't have to.

Look at Valve moving to support PS3, Insomniac moving to support 360.  It just makes financial sense.

but if they go multiplat, then it will take another 10 years before we see their next game!

Well, that could be an issue of course.  I'm just thinking of their wallets - don't know why really!

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Alan Wake was a amazing single player experience. Can't wait for the sequel.

It's just that simple.

I don't know why they would since Alane Wake borderline bombed.

Good news for us Xbox 360 gamers though.

I wouldn't quite say bombed, but as I said before comments were removed from games, its profitability is questionable. Maybe Remedy have convinced M$ they can get a sequel turned around quickly, which due to the popularity of the game amongst its users should sell similar numbers to the first, which will probably 1m

The Conduit only sold 420k and is getting a sequel. There are a lot of games out there that sold less then a million and are seeing a sequel.

Besides, over time Alan Wake will probably easily surpass one million units, if not more. One million is probably enough for MS, tho I am not sure how much Alan Wake really costs - no one knows. Lets not forget they could use the same engine, improve it slightly and make a lot of gameplay changes to keep it fresh - and that would cost a lot less then the original considering they wouldn't have a new engine - just re-use it.
