Lol, c'mon... I liked sorcerer too but... it's on a completely  different level.

I bet it's small budget, small production time, family orienteded game. Zelda is guaranteed to be huge, high production values, 4 years in development, made by fans for fans.

But Sorcery was the best thing of sony's conference, I give you that.

you must be joking, or just not even the most minute sony fan.

killzone 3 and Twisted metal were breathtaking, and socom looked very entertaining, as well as Medal of Honor. But those things just probably aren't up your alley one bit.

I'm not! The only things I liked were Sorcery and LBP2.

I hate blood and guns. And edgy games like twisted metal too - heck, I'm a pink blob guy (kirby) not a Sadistic Clown one (that guy from twisted metal). And most important, I hate with a passion Racing Sims - so GT was like always the very bad part of E3 (forza too btw)

So, by my tastes, Sorcery was good, the others were not breathtaking. Not at all.

Whats funny is, I have the opposite tastes as you (except Im not a racing fan) but I agree with you on Sorcery.

Not sure what it is, but I loved that part of the presentation.  Absolutely loved it.  I never once up to the point of seeing that game even CONSIDERED buying a move, but I am now (and I probably still wont)

Shall we begin bets on gameranking/metacritic scores?

ha I also missed his speech live and heard some say it was epic.  I found it a great speech as well, but very hypocritical coming from sony.  I mean how much bashing had been going on about the Wii and its waggle, or about casual games and how sony has hardcore games and not some kiddy casual system like the wii.  And here he is saying we are all people and whats wrong if your firend has a hot girlfriend if you also have a hot girlfriend.  Haven't wii been saying that since day one.  I coudl care less about nintendogs, but apparantly 20 million do care.  Why should it bother me, i am gettting games i like still.

Oh and to those who are saying that sorcery showed what move can do, I feel like you havne't ever had a wii.  I don't own a huge library of Wii games, but played enough and i wasn't wowed at all.  Really just felt like I was watching as Practer said a Wii HD.

I think, more accurately, you have to keep in mind that this is a possible launch title. The thought process is something similar to product quality increasing over time, and this game as a foundation is an interesting starting point for that progress.

doesn't mean anything, hell one of the best implemented games i like is metroid prime 3 and zack and wiki and those were both very early as well

but really it all depends on how many buy this thing, whats it like $100 or something?  Yea i know $50, but that is only for controller, you need camera as well.  So what is camera?  I only saw the bundle with some wiisports game.  Or the ps3 bundle with wiisports as well.

And this is what 4 years into ps3 cycle, the motion plus has sold a shit ton and been out for a year on a motion based console and i don't see many flocking to this motion plus stuff. still seems most just throw a party game together and toss in a little waggle here or there

I love how the Zelda controls had a little bit of interference during the bow and arrow demo and now people are so quick to say it's going to suck, or that some no name Move title is going to own it, despite all acounts saying the motion controls for the game work great.

Are you sure you guys don't just WANT Zelda to fail?

I think you and peachbuggy completely skipped the part in the OP about "Zelda like we've seen a thousand times before"

And I think you've skipped the part where you said that you weren't serious about everything you said in your OP. But don't worry. On Thursday, right when you've caught up on your missing sleep and the new week starts, you won't make such oversights again.

I was joking about the release date being an important factor, rol.... hence "ZING"

I'll forgive you for not understanding american culture.

Is it just me, or did sorcery actually look cooler than zelda?

Not only did the wiimote completely fail numerous times, but it was zelda like we've seen it a thousand times.

Sorcery looked pretty cool, it worked well, was thoughtful, and had an interesting atmosphere.

Oh, also sorcery had a release date! ZING!

Seriously though, what did you think?

I guess if you don't own a Wii, it is good to talk yourself into believing Sorcery is superior.

Sorcery looked good and all, but come on.. Better than Zelda? ZELDA??

That's like saying Little Big Planet is the better platformer than NSMB Wii.

The powers looked fun to use, but the environments and enemies looked bland. It's like Harry Potter but a bit more dark.

LBP is the better platformer and quite a few people would agree.

Meh, I found Sorcery boring. It looks like all you have to do is flick the wand to proceed.

By far the best response to the topic at hand. Well played.

talking is not needed. everyone but the most devout zelda fans could see that. Sorcery is not likely to be a better game, in fact it's impossible. But today it mopped the floor with zelda.

1) I saw issues with motion sensing all together... not just the bow and arrow.
2) That move title has a name.
3) Your earlier posts ruins your cred and shows just how right my original post was...

Well, I could of plugged that comment into multiple other threads on here, reworded of course.  It seems like you learn more about a person by what they say is superior to something else, than you do about the thing they are saying is superior.
