I have two thoughts:

1. WTF classic controller FTL.

2. The poor bastards at High Voltage must be freaking out that a big IP dropped in out of nowhere to steal the key feature of their upcoming shooter and launch the same month.

Hopefully it's optional and they allow proper Wiimote aiming.

They've said that they'll have pointer controls, but why are they demoing the game with CCs? Does IR suck for splitscreen? Do the lights in the room throw too much IR light?

Do they think that game journalists don't know how to use a pointer (I'm sure quite a few of them don't)?

Not really.

First, above anything else in importance....its not GoldenEye without Brosnan.  Its my number one Bond movie and not having Brosnan is an insult.

Second, I think remakes aren't worth doing if they are not going to be done of the latest and best technology.  Should have been done on PS3 or 360, preferably the former since their exclusives tend to edge out the win a bit.  To make thigns worse it doesn't even seem to be pushing the Wii much visually.

Couldn't had said it better. Even if the game wasn't on the lastest techonlogy, the game looks like a quick cash in

Im excited for it. Cant wait.

The original Goldeneye is one of my all time favorites, but this one is just plain ugly by the standards of most shooters I play on the HD twins. I no longer have interest in it when I initially did.

Plus, Goldeneye is Brosnan's fucken movie, Daniel Craigs huge pex should  only be in games based on movies starring him.

ugh, that was an even bigger insult. wtf, they just changed the main character. Maybe trevelyan should be goldfinger, and Xenia Onatopp can be played by Oddjob.

It would be cool if you could be any bond and pick your favorite.

they had to remove Brosnan (as much as it sucks) because otherwise Activision would have to pay royalties to him. Since they pay a license fee to MGM for Bond related material they do not need to pay Daniel Craig royalties as he is on the MGM payrole.

Things I hate about the game:

- Looks like a quick cash in. could of done better with the textures.

- Daniel Craig.

- Regenerative Health (so you run away and high and you heal).

I'm excited.  The game looks great, though if it only has 5 multiplayer maps  it's no longer a definite buy for me.

I never played the original (FPSs simply don't belong on dual analog controls).
