Price is very close to Nintendo's offering, thus pretty aggressive. It's a good strategy, they should do fairly well.

Hmmm. Guess I missed that. But who cares as I'm sure those demos will be on PSN as well.

Wiimote - $40-50 (depends on colour) Nunchuck - $16 Motionplus - $18
Total - $74-84.
I'm not seeing the issue. |
Maybe that the people Sony is targeting have already purchased Wii's. Not to mention every $200 Wii comes with one person copy of all of that so its only a small amount for 2nd player options which can be bought bundled with tons of other games making the Wii far more attractive than any Move bundle (known so far).

Besides I own a Wii and personally its failed to deliver on the types of games I wanted. PS Move interest me since I already know it has the types I want. |
I touched on the future sales topic and you are not the customer Sony is targeting with Move. I just don't understand why people don't understand why Kinect and Move were created. Just look at all the games demonstrated today. 95% of them were clearly not for you and will fail "to deliver on the types of games I wanted".

Serious question: who were they for?

Strange as lots of them appealed to me? |
So wait. The same types of games already on Wii were suddenly ok for you?

The expanded audience, i.e. the casualz that Wii has catered to so well.
The problem I see with Kinect is that every single one of their games are going to be casual and don't offer anything different than what could be done on with Wii/Move. Now, if you're a casual gamer, chances are you're going to go with the cheaper Wii. I mean it's $100 cheaper than the cheapest rumored Kinect bundle. And who knows, Kinect may end up being more expensive than $150. And does anyone know if the special wire required to use Kinect on the older consoles is included and/or how much it will cost?
Where Sony has the chance to succeed is in the fact that Move also works with core games. A market the Wii, for the large part, hasn't really captured. Which means Move will most likely sell to those who already have a PS3, or at least those who would have gotten one anyway. Now, if Sony really wanted to get people onboard, I think they should sell the PS3 Move bundle for $350. I mean the main reason to get a bundle is to save money, as opposed to getting a PS3 and Move seperately.

I don't buy that.

ok, what new Move experiences were show that are not already on Wii?
The only thing you can state is potentially improved controls for Shooters and that's only because Wii's library for that genre is limited due to 3rd parties being douche bags.
