And yeah, SSJ, I wasn't so sure. I thought it woudl do well, but I wasn't absolutely convinced the way I am about SSBB or MGS or GT5.

ssj12, I personally had my doubts. The game seemed TOO weird from the displays at E3 and with the balance board only being used in wii fit, I didn't think it would be so big.

Good news for nintendo.

Honestly, im very thin. Im 5'11" and 130 pounds. Thats not to say Im really fit though. For some reason, I want to try this out.

You're emaciated! You don't need Wii Fit; you need a Cooking Mama!

did anyone really think this wasnt going to happen?

Uh, have you read John Lucas' "Wii Fit will beat Halo3" thread? There are identified haters and doubters there.

Well if you look at recent game sales over in Japan they did not sell like we all thought they would. Super Mario Galaxy did not sell like we all thought and they are starting just to buy DS stuff now. So that is why this is all a shock and even to me!!!

Good news for people who want a whole gym with stat-tracking and analyzing software and goal-setting software and basically a virtual personal trainer for only $310, that the whole family can use with no monthly fees anywhere.

Good news for the gaming industry because an assload of non-gamers are going to pick up Galaxy or Wii Sports on their way out the door.

This is just amazing. I can't wait.

I'm 3 inches taller than you but only about 10 or 15 more pounds.  Actually I don't even know how much I weigh.  But I'm skinny as hell and I eat a ton and drink a ton.  You'll be happy when you're older.  Folks like us gotta watch out for the middle-aged gut though.  My skinny dad got one, and there's nothing grosser than a skinny guy with a gut.  It doesn't match up with the thin rib cage so you just look pregnant.
