Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 Slim LEAKED Picture!!!!!

I like this design over the orig. and if's it's anything it most likely run cooler and since it has by this source a 250 GB HD and built in Wifi that's a good thing esp. if the cost stay's the same of $299.00 or Less.

I could see the Arcade unit dropping to $149.99, and the current XBOX360 go to $250.00

which would be a great price reduction.

Some of you are in kidding yourself if you think they won't cut price aggressively down to $129 now. Xbox 360 will hit $129, you're going to see it possible reach £120 in the UK and equivalent prices in Europe. It will be half the price of the PS3 slim, it will look better than it, it will have NATAL not the PS Move which will feel like a old experience due to the Wii. Its close to impossible for Xbox 360 to not outsell PS3 this Holiday, maybe I was extreme with saying the gap would go back to 8 Million, at least 7 Million.

You are still out of your mind by saying 7 million.

You are almost counting the PS3 as it's not selling at all.

It looks like an old PC tower from like 2005, doesn't even look slim.

At your bolded parts, now you're just trolling.

Without dimensions this isn't that useful. Think I prefer this design to the original, which was exactly what it said on the tin, a box. Looks like this has more vents so hopefully should run cool and quiet.

As for console sales, I think we'll have a better idea after E3 and both Sony and MS have announced how they're going to release and price Natal/Move, games and Slim/price drops.

Ugly. :/

this luks horrible. ms has failed/

the cnt sell this to casuals, it dusn't luk appealing to jpn market eithr, this will be big flop for them. luks are very imprtant

You come up with the most stupid conclusions sometimes akiba. The PS3 slim looks terrible but it has managed to do just fine. Why won't this sell in Japan? Are the looks so bad it won't sell anything in Japan? Understand that this is  rebranding, Microsoft will push this like a new xbox 360 this fall, this fall xbox 360 will dominate, its obvious which side of the fence your on, get ready to see PS3 outsold by a lot when Microsoft markets this console like a new games system.

The gap will be back to 8 Million by Jan 1st now.

ur wrng becaus ms cnt drop price of xbox nw becaus natal will be in it. so price wnt drop, public wnt see price drop.

On jpn, I hve studied console market ov jpn, I knw how it works, this product wnt work ther. Its too big, vry agressive with black colour, fans. In europe Gran turismo 5 is out this year, th xbox 360 slim at lowest price wnt do anythng for it then. Only america wnt make gap go bck up to 8 million, u r delusinal

Your spelling is as bad as PS3 sales will be this holiday. Fix it, I'm not reading that crap you wrote

From what I could make of it you say Gran Turismo 5, we are 5 years into this generation, no game will sell units now, deal with it.

Trolling two times in the same thread? Come on man.

Grow up, Gran Turismo 5 will sell units, you must be smoking drugs from out of this universe to say otherwise.

I also think it looks just as big if not bigger.

There is a comparison shot on GAF which shows it to be a bit smaller, but I agree that it's pretty damn ugly

Rebranding? LOL. It's still going to be known as what it is, the Xbox 360, and public perception of it is already set. Natal won't change that, and this certainly won't, even if it is legit.

First of all, it's not really that much different than the current 360, and second, the PS3 slim made so much noise not necessarily because of the redesign, but because of the fact that it was long overdue for a price cut after being $400 for the longest. The 360 has been affordable for a while now, so a price cut wouldn't make a difference, and even then it's highly unlikely that MS would lower the price again due to Natal.

Prologue sold ~4-5M, GT5 will sell beyond that, so how are all the GT5 fans on PS3 already?

Also if you looked you would see that GT5P outsold GT4P, so how did you come to the conclusion that the series is declining?

GT4:P wasn't out in all regions, and it wasn't out for 3-4 years before the actual game. Gran Turismo 4 declined over grean Turismo 3, franchise has declined.

GT2 declined over GT1 before it went up with GT3, so what's your point?

Gran Turismo is like the Star Trek movies?  Odd numbers in the series end up being the top ones?

Nice to see the PS3 fanboys running damage control, normally a good sign :)

Personally i think it looks better then the current 360 which is pretty ugly. As others have mentioned none of the consoles this gen look too good, the PS3 slim lookslike a george forman grill that has been run over by a huge truck, but the games play fine on it! And that is the point, if the specs of this thing are better then the current one then people will buy it, if the price is better then the current one then people will buy it.

It is long over do and with a price cut will obviously revitalise 360 sales.

yea. the reduction's most likely will be weight an power usage over the outer size of the unit it's most likely not going to be that much in size reduction.

as for the redesign being Ugly, well that Opinion.
