The problem here is MS has been the most hardcore of the developers this generation and this conference was a slap in the face of that. Its funny it the Wii had Kinect it would sell millions upon millions but it does not seem to fit the 360 market.

As I see it, Microsoft mentions they have all the top hardcore stuff in the first half.  In the second half, they do all Kinect stuff.

I could be wrong, but I don't think SmokedHostage cares for shooters very much. Nor Kojima.

Then why did he even buy an Xbox for in the first place? Project Natal? JRPGs? lol!

yeah, both sony and ms commited fatal mistakes for their conferences... leak their AAA games days before E3

 

at least that greediness and good secret keeping of nintendo will give us a mind blowing surprise conference.......

and if zelda wii isn't a surprise..... well.... has anyone seen a trailer or screenshot??

but my point is, they were extrmly carefull not to leak it, they gave us this art to contemplate and wonder the secrets hidden within for a year

Sony showed their games on purpose, wait and see what happens.

so you expect them to have a lot more than kz3, lbp2 and other stuff they leaked?

I expect them to have a plan. We'll see just how many new "megatons" it includes, but saying they made a fatal mistake seems premature, when they held events for showcasing these games. They weren't leaked in any way, they were shown to the press, it's a pretty important difference.

Kinect is limited for games without a controller. All games are "on-rail", racer, fitness, dance, and a Star Wars that your character can not walk freely in the scenario.

A new design for the same price? No thanks.

And a Sport Channel.. I can see this in my TV without a Gold accont.

Bad, a very bad conference.

That was not quite what I was expecting from Microsoft.  And did I miss the price point for Kinect?

When my girlfriend saw the fitness game, right away "We're getting that".

Also, her kids will go crazy over the Kinectimals game.

I appreciate that there are people i your life who will appreciate it. There are a lot of people who appreciate it, I'm sure.

Sony have all this so far, basically guaranteed except for both hardware points:

 PSN Premium

- LBP2

- KZ3

- Resistance 3

- GT5

- inFamous 2

- Agent

- Motorstorm 3

- Move

- Move games (SOCOM 4)

- New PSP?

- New PS3 models possibly

- Multiplat stuff (Assassins Creed)

 They've won already, at least compared to MS's. Any surprises are a bonus.
