All the core games shown have me excited and my buddy and I actualy thought some of the Kinect games would be fun to play with our fiancee or buddies etc. They nailed what they were aiming for with Kinect IMO and still show that they have awesome core games coming as well. Plus I am excited to hear more about the Crytek X360 exclusive game. I am a bit bummed that they didn't have any big surprises this year but I know all my friends that are sports fans will also dig the ESPN on demand stuff plus I like the new Xbox 360 design. I am quite shocked that it is being shipped as we speak though.
How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...
Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

yeah, both sony and ms commited fatal mistakes for their conferences... leak their AAA games days before E3
at least that greediness and good secret keeping of nintendo will give us a mind blowing surprise conference.......
and if zelda wii isn't a surprise..... well.... has anyone seen a trailer or screenshot??

Sony showed their games on purpose, wait and see what happens.

People make claims like that all the time. Nothing surprising here.
Besides, what's the going price for a used Xbox these days? $50? $100? Not even worth the effort. Just keep it and enjoy whatever few games fit the bill. Gears 3, Halo Reach and Fable 3 alone are worth it.
the most disappointing thing was no FPS for kinect... i was hoping to see how they would make that work but no show here...
who else thinks that the crytek exclusive looks like a GOW game for XBox?

Its like voice recognition on your cell phone, you play around with it in the beginning than you never use it again. While watching the chick do the kick boxing you clearly see how much kinect lagged behind her movements. What really gets me is where was the kinect intergation with HD games like halo reach or alan wake i didnt care about the wii sports.I dont get how people are saying this new xbox 360 at the same price point of the current ps3 will cause trouble, anyone with half a mind can see the ps3 still has more hardware and features in the current console.All this is my option but really? |
That could have been video lag. You know like how music games need you to calibrate your system sometimes because different screens have different lags.
But either way, no one showing it off seemed to have any problems successfully controling the games they were playing.
I wanted kinect to play traditional type games like Oblivion (NPC interaction) or to try on action games. I saw nothing like that, hense I have no interest in Kinect any more. At this point Sony is probably going to top them with Move because at least it has non-gimicky games like Socom 4.
Fable 3 did look pretty weak, if they were so damned focused on Kinect why didn't they show us how it works in Fable 3?
