Twesterm you have taken casual drive-by.... topics... of this kind to a new level. Bravo.

When was the last time you played a JRPG that wasn't called Final Fantasy?

Go pick up Lost Odyssey. You'll liek it if only for the leveling system, where you're brought up to an enemy-appropriate level quickly and then basically stay there, making grinding unnecessary, unsatisfying, and difficult. Also you can listen to it in five different languages.

I actually have Lost Odyssey and I tried it twice.  All I really remember about it is that I stopped playing it...

Have you tried any of the SMT series?

That's really as Japanese as it gets.

it is also frustrating seeing a genre and game i like being put dwn becaus 1 person ddnt like 1 game. and th thred creator hs hated on final fantasy be4 too in my "rate ff games" thred. tht is frustrating too dude.

That's not an excuse. If you want to make the topic better, then make it better, don't drag it into a different but equally pointless direction. There are many constructive ways you can lead this discussion, including leading into JRPGs that do not follow the storytelling tropes that twesterm dismisses. It's not hard. It just requires a steady hand and a certain willingness to extend an olive branch.

Try again. You don't get any advice better than that, sorry; you haven't given any proper side in a conversation that would suggest you need more than that.

You put down a lot of games, and if you can't remember something being wrong with it then there's no reason to assume there was.

So try again.

Your a liar.

He's simply exaggerating for effect. That doesn't make him a liar.

He has damn good English writing skills. He could understand what Akiba said easily.

You're badly mistaken. The boy's writing in atrocious and I'm not accustomed to reading the truncated lettering that's characteristic of text messages, especially not on this board.

He refuses to listen to advice on his spelling and grammar. It's pretty much useless to try to get him to stop.

But is his writing really hurting anyone? It is his choice after all.

It's still annoying and it takes time to decipher some of his posts.

Therefore, he is wasting my time.

TIme is very valuable, and he is consuming it.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
