When was the last time you played a JRPG that wasn't called Final Fantasy?

Go pick up Lost Odyssey. You'll liek it if only for the leveling system, where you're brought up to an enemy-appropriate level quickly and then basically stay there, making grinding unnecessary, unsatisfying, and difficult. Also you can listen to it in five different languages.

I actually have Lost Odyssey and I tried it twice.  All I really remember about it is that I stopped playing it...

Have you tried any of the SMT series?

That's really as Japanese as it gets.
