Vade Retro! They keep getting uglier each time they reveal them. Well, I won't be pissed off with anyone who buys this crap game, but, here's an advice: this will surely be the ugliest Pokémon game ever.

Thing is, when Generation IV was announced and pokemon were getting revealed, a lot of fans said these same things. Now everybody uses them/likes them

It's funny to see how people detract/hate new and different approaches. Pokemon designs couldn't always stay the same, there's just so many ways to draw a Pikachu look-a-like.

I disagree with your opinion, I like the way they look. Especially Shimama, Hihidaruma and Chiramii. And can I burrow your time machine so that I can see how good the game will be for myself?

Ironic is that even I said, when Generation IV was revealed, that I wouldn't play Pokémon anymore. Now, look at my team below! But I must say: these ones are really ugly. Comparing to the first Generation IV Pokémon revealed, they are the worst I've ever seen. Munchlax was the first, followed by Mime Jr. (stupid), Lucario (one of the best ever) and Weavile (way cooler than Sneasel). If I'm not mistaken, Dialga and Palkia were next and, as with recent guardians, were always strange at time.

But, to be honest, I'm really disappointed with these new Pokémon: Zorua and Zoroark look damn stupid to me (it's like they're trying to do a Riolu/Lucario clone), the three starters are horrible (specially the otter and the pig, what the hell are they?!), Reshiram and Zekrom are the ugliest things I've ever seen as Pokémon, I can't believe it was possible for someone to actually beat Bibarel in ugliness. To me, they are Digimon, not Pokémon. And along with all these stupid Pokémon above, there absolutely nothing that will make me buy this thing.

Too bad I'm one of the few who will do this, because everyone keeps buying these games. I wanted, at least once, to Game Freak to fail in the sales so they can think the f****** s*** they're doing with the series.

Some are OK. The Mouse and the Pidgon look good. I also like Gear. The others I am mixed on.

Yawn, this excuse is getting old. Since Kyogre/Goudron were shown that this has been said. This is nothing new. Most pokemon fans are liking these designs and personally, Zekrom is one of the coolest pokemons I've ever seen, almost up there with Lugia and Feraligatr.

How is that you want the game to fail makes you any different from the rest of pokemon fans that like how the new games are shaping up? You have a negative impression of the games, based on a few scans? If you don't give the games a try, at least, then how can you fairly judge them? I hate it when people desire bad things to happen to a developer/game, just because they dislike them.

Anyway, unless people start coming up with new excuses to complain about pokemon, I think that Game Freaks are quite satisfied with how the series is accepted by it's fans

But Reshiram and Zekrom are Digimon... They are mechanical, how could that be?! To me, that's not Pokémon (see, they are different from Magnemite and Magneton, who are robot-alikes, while the new Pokémon arent robots, but mechanical "things" we couldn't call animals). And I'm not saying the games are bad, but I don't like the fact they're aiming for 1000 species, and that's why I wanted it to fail: I just can't stand this explosion of species.

And, trust me, Game Freak isn't quite "satisfied" the series is accepted by fans, they're actually happy to have consumers who buy their game anyway so they can keep producing them. It's hard to me to say this, but Miyamoto shouldn't have called Tajiri for a few lessons; that way, Game Freak would go bankrupt after six years and at least I wouldn't have to pass through all of this...

I won't be discussing this anymore, ok? Do what you want with these new Pokémon. But thanks, normally discussions like this end up in flames.

I don't want this discussion to end up in flames, but you're taking quite some bold statements there, especially when you implied that the only correct thing to do was to deny Game Freak any success with these new games. That's not the correct attitude to have. You, I or any fan doesn't have the right to wish bad things to any developer.

Also, the only reasons that you've shown as to why you want the games to do bad is the pokemon designs. What about the rest? The improved battle system? The fusion of Pokecenters and GTS? All of these which are some very good improvements for the series.

Come on, Zekrom and Reshiram have the same similar feeling and look that Kyogre/Goudron and Palkia/Dialga had, especially these last ones. And how do you know they're mechanical? Because to me, they look far from it.
