How can it fail? No one has to pay for it. You don't have to use it. Damn some of you need to have information before you post. IT'S FREE!

it can fail harder that way u know : if no-one uses it....

They have advertising in Home, thats what pays for it. If a PS3 owner has broadband or wifi, they will download it and use it. Will you use it, do you even have a PS3?

no way i have 360 and wii , but my friend has a ps3. but does that even matter?

Go ask your friend if he would use Home if it was free.

Woah, slow down there Eugene, currently HOME is quite unpopulated. Right now theres like only a handfull of selected beta testers for HOME, ergo it aint right to say its yet that its failure as a social network.

You should wait till all PS3 users get access to it before jumping into that.

 Consoles: Wii & PS3.

If opinion was more believable than fact this thread would make sense.

HOME is better than the internet.

Ok, lets face it, the reason why Myspace and Facebook is popular

1. Everyone has it already and all your friends are already on it. Meeting people you dont know is weird.

2. Social networking is fun if there are girls in it. A community of 99% guys is really weird for social networking outside of prison.

Let me take this opportunity to voice my opinion on how weird it is to see all of you weird people on this site.

Thank you

It will be a good way to organise games online, have clan meetings etc., and also see films through streaming at the film screens

LOL yeah, organize stuff and watch demoes etc, but Clan meetings?  I can see it now, I'm walking down the hall to the PS Cinema and a bunch of guys in there PJs with white pointy hoods come running at me tying to steel my virtual money......

Now this is a sign of brainwashing. Grow up kid. OT: I find it rather naive to think that home can replace peoples online social life, when it clearly won't ever reach out to other people than ps3 owners. You also have to take into account that the thing may become frustrating in the end. Supposing i want to just ask a buddy of mine, if he would liek to meet up then what will i use? The internet? Home? Or maybe a cellphone? Or maybe i'll just talk to him face to face. In terms of speed, the phone beats everything. Same with getting clan practices ready, making multi person conferences on an internet communicator, which can also be used on cell phones, will be much less of a chore than actually doing it on Home. In the end, Home is only a communicator with a lot of fancy-shmancy extras, that don't really help in any way.

Deep into the darkness pearing

Long i stood there

Wondering

Fearing

Doubting.

Have they put running in Home yet?

I actually hope he's right. Then he'll be on Home forever and we won't have to get statements like this.
