Good. Now we just need Zangeki localized and we will finally be getting somewhere with decent motion plus support.

Aim tracking is better. It used the gyroscope to follow the motion of the controller in tandem with the pointer. It's hard to explain, but if you can try Red Steel 2, you'll know.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
Anything that can make this game will be awesome. Looking forward to see what they have instore for us.

and it tracks movement better when the pointer is offscreen which is good for turning. It would also allow 1:1 motion controlled melee attacks but HVS has ruled this out.
WHY ? !?!
I think that would have been a good addition to the game and it would not affect the core gameplay at all
In my opinion Twilight Princess is better than Ocarina of t... * gets shot *

Didn't see them ruling it out here, but I might have missed it.
If they did, they likely felt it wasn't needed, since melee attackes are very simple anyway. It's just press and hit.

It wasn't mentioned in this thread but HVS have confirmed that there will be no motion controlled melee attacks.
Yeah they're simple but i still think it would've been fun, think they might be saving that feature for the grinder though ...

I have to admit, I don't like the ergonomics of the WM in an FPS. I usually hinge the Wii Remote with my hand, on my leg, to point at the screen. Now, the WM gets in the way, and doesn't work well to hinge. Haven't gotten used to it yet (with RS2) and doesn't look like it's happening too soon.

Local multi-player was enough to put this on my to get list, and if the online is fixed and the single player experienced surpasses the first, then all the better. I'll be one happy camper. As for WM . I don't really see it adding anything, but I'll be sure to try it with and without just to see what it does do. It's nice they support it for whatever it's worth. Now give me a chainsaw. |
This reflects my thoughts well. Except the Chainsaw thing.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
