Eh, I guess I'll get the 360 version like I always knew I would.
Pixel Art can be fun.

I saw this Castlevania before, but I wasn't interested in it. The WRPG/Gothic look didn't really look good to me.
Now that I hear this PR nightmare, I want this game to fail miserably. I should never have that thought cross my mind, but when you are consistently insulted everyday as a Wii owner, it gets to that point where, if I don't like ya, phuck ya.
Now hynad, khuutra, what the heck are you arguing about?
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
He's playing semantics, and blowing my claims out of proportion. It kinda look like a pissing contest.
And indeed, it is all irrelevent to the actual points I brought up initially, which was in direct relation to the topic here.

Here's a thought: Different sizes of books don't make them into something other than books. ^_- |
I'm sorry, you must be forgetting the line I originally quoted. And I quote:
"And you're trying to tell me Monster Hunter 3 isn't as niche a title as NMH?"
In this sentence you imply that there are differing degrees of nicheness, and that Monster Hunter Tri is on the same level as No More Heroes. QED, you agree with my assertion.

Hynad implied that No More Heroes was "no more niche" than Mosnter Hunter Tri, which is a ridiculous assertion.
In fact, I stated the exact opposite, which he failed to understand.
Preferring to go into this out of topic niche pissing contest, and implying that Monster Hunter was in fact a mainstream title (yep, see what I do here too ^_-). Which the game's sales, especially in the west, clearly point in an other direction. ^^
I'm going to wonder if this ends up in the same situation as Dark Void and Dark Void Zero, but with Lords of Shadow and the WiiWare CV, where the latter ends up a profitable success, and the former an embarrassing failure.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I can see Lords of Shadows being successful. It seems like the game takes a lot of inspiration from games like God of War, Bayonetta and Devil May Cry for its third person mechanics. And we don't know yet what Konami spices they are adding to the mix, other than the Castlevania name. The game progression will most likely respect the Castlevania formula. At least I do hope so. And if they can manage to make the grappling work as well as in the God of War series or better, than I will not be too worried about how awesome the game will be.
Since those 3 game series have been very successful, and seeing as this title is being supervised by Kojima, I really doubt this game will fail to deliver.
I expect this to be the most successful 3D Castlevania by a certain margin, but not enough so to justify the rsources currently being poured into it.
Going to take a lot of 2D games to fund the next one, etc.

From what he's saying, castlevania games are too mainstream for nintendo systems. It seems like he is ignoring the previous titles, as well as the ones released on the DS. Konami wouldn't have released thoes games if they weren't successfull.
