They must've seen how successful 2D Mario is, and how brilliantly Nintendo incorporated sidescrolling bits in Galaxy and Galaxy 2... I'm not complaining!

I like it how the developers put some good effort in the sequel. de Blob will endure many concosole generations because they seem to do everything right: believe in their game, put it on every platform and enhance it to its best.

Definitely a must buy, de Blob is such a fresh gaming experience I don't want to miss.

Wow that looks great, huge improvement over the original. Too bad I haven't finished the first one, got disheartened after I failed to find the last unpainted tree on the first level :(((

Wow everything is getting 2D platforming sections these days. I just finished Prince of Person: The Forgotten Sands for Wii, and it even had some 2D sections in the story mode and bonus maps.

Nice info, and looking at the video it seems the game actually has a budget and a production team this time around, lots of animations, looks cleaner, overall just a lot better with more draw distance, and with the new info just sounds like a better game all around.

yeah, it's supposed to be a 2d platformer. apparently, the game takes place between the events of the console games. it's vastly different, but it looks like fun.

2D gaming making a come back O.o

Loved the first one, 4 player co op sounds awesome as does more boss battles.
