direct confrontation does not work in argentina's case... If they all have 6 points:

Argentina>>SK>>Grece>>Argentina ... it's a circle.

I'll be only goal difference, then most goals scored, then I dunno

edit: actually it ends at goal difference, because Argentina and Grece cannot have the same diff at the end of the day.

Ok, my whole assumption was wrong because I considered direct confrontation above goal average. I though it was that way and not the other way around

That being said, then yes, there's a small mathematical possibility for Argentina to be out of the next round and Nigeria in, albeit a very small one. 

It will be a nice fight for survival from all the teams in the group though

Nahhh, Capello's going back to the good old Italian Strategy = Rooney as a DMF and passing balls all the way up front without doing built up game or consecutive passing.

Yup, pretty much every one of the favorites have had poor performances in this WC. Either they're playing way too conservative or simply underestimating their opponents, the truth is that there's been a ton of surprising results so far. 

I hope that England do go through in their group though

besides switzerland-spain 1-0, france-mexico 0-2, and england algeria 0-0 i dont see any other suprises

Serbia is a pretty good team, i was always hoping they can defeat germany and they did. And England - USA match wasnt really suprise, its just the people tought USA is pretty weak team, and english team, as usual, underestimated their opponet. USA drawing was a suprise, but Brazil almost always plays their first matches medicore.

After Germany coming from a 4-0 win against Australia and Serbia losing 1-0 to Ghana no one can say that result wasn't surprising, come on >_>

Brazil may have mediocre first matches, but everyone here, TV and sport commentators were predicting huge goal margins for the N.Korea matches and that didn't happen because N.Korea played surprisingly well.
