Actually I heard the track during the stream yesterday when the guy was like 15 hours in or something. He was fighting some biggish bird in one of the areas (non story related). I also heard it play right after the normal battle theme so maybe it plays when you're doing good in battle or something? I like this track way better than the normla battle theme so I hope I get to hear it often :P I think the story bosses probably have different tracks.

wow! if THIS is the track they use for just the 'biggish' battles, I can't wait to hear what they'll give the boss battles and important events! :D

hype!

Outstanding song.

I would like it even more if the guitar didn't sound so light hearted, it has a flying bee sense to it. I would rather it have more weight, but maybe that's just because I love metal.

Putting my personal impressions a side, the song really delivers the epic mood for a battle. It works perfectly. It's 5.57 am as I write this and I feel like running to work across Buenos Aires, beating up any robbers or junkies who might get in my way if I do so, when it actually is really cold and I should be wishing to go to return to bed instead of going to work.

I will listen to the rest of the list and I will tell you if it's not as great as it promises, which I doubt.

I just started playing Xenoblade, I like it! yeah the char detail is low, but the environment looks great!

the battle system so far it's like WKC but the pace is higher, so far I can only choose Back slash, Turn attack and light heal...well I just started anyway, haven't got the Monado yet...

can't really play this long, since the world cup is starting later lol :p

Currently Playing: Devil Survivor 2 (NDS)

Here's a REALLY good article explaining Xenoblade if you don't know much about it or want to know more.

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/06/10/all_about_xenoblade/

Page 5 is battle system stuff if you're wondering about that btw.

That was a great article. Thanks.

Yeah, between what I read there and the new gameplay vids, I am 100% sold on this game.

According to a post in neogaf, Xenoblade first day numbers could be 50K

That'd be pretty solid for a Xeno game first day. First shiment is apparently 75k, it could best Xenosaga Ep 3 sales (119k).

Vgchartz has Ep3 at 122K first week and 180K LTD, I think Xenoblade will struggle to even reach Ep3 first week

the Japanese preview puts Xenoblade at almost 100,000 for first week. Pretty damn good if you ask me. Maybe it has a chance at beating Xenosaga Ep. 3

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Yeah I hope to eat my words in a few weeks

The soundtrack is BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of the SNES/PS1 JRpgs. I am sold on this. The battle system looks very fun and the story and feel to the game is just outstanding.

Wow this game looks great so far. Love the music, and the battle system is reminiscent of one of my favorite RPGs of all time, Secret of Mana. Environments look great too.
