Capcom May Have Special Plans For Resident Evil This Year

The fourth Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil IV: Afterlife starring Milla Jovovich, will be making the 3D jump when it’s released in theaters this September. To coincide with the movie’s debut Capcom has expressed interest in doing something special for the popular video game series in which Resident Evil IV: Afterlife is based on.

Speaking to Nikkei Trendy, Capcom CEO Haruhiro Tsujimoto stated:

“The 3D movie Resident Evil IV Afterlife starring Milla Jovovich is scheduled to hit theaters on September 10. Timed with the movie’s release, we’d like to do something to heat up the game series.”

Could a 3D version ( or a 3D upgrade ) of Resident Evil ( the video game ) be in the works?

Not a problem. It'll be exclusively for the Xbox 360.

But experts on Japanese culture say if it goes exclusive to xbox 360 Capcom will be burnt down in Japan!!

Or they can pull a Transformers and put it on the Wii and change the name to "Resident Evil: Arklay Mountain Adventures"

These experts said a lot of similar things about Square-Enix, but they still suck SE's dick and anxiously await every announcement with baited breath despite the fact that Square hasn't released a good game in almost a decade, so I don't see why Capcom should give a shit.
