I don't think they'd go that far out of their way to sotp a few jokes.

Part of me wonders if they're sacrificing the impact of some of their conference announcements, though.

I dont know but most of their game they anounce recently exept socom 4 and motorstorm arent really big surprises, so I hope they got something like a new syphon filter or twisted metal to blow us away

I know the PSP Go was leaked, was the Agent leaked?

don't think all the SONY leaks are leaks as leaks can be done to build hype

 

big companies can stop leaks

 

Altough some are legit leaks,other are just done to up the hype

 

 

about this year,

 

i think SONY revealed games as they were just sequels.even if they were revealed at E3 they wouldn't have made much more of news

and that they would like to keep the main conference for some shockers

That big beautiful The Last Guardian trailer was leaked a coupl of weeks beforehand that I remember.

So far everything they have announced are pretty expected or heavily rumored sequels, so I think it makes sense to announce them before the big show when they can get covers on magazines and be the talk of the internet for a while.  Hopefully they have a few more unexpected announcements for the actual conference that will actually be surprising enough to warrant attention during E3.  I highly doubt that "this is it" as you put it.

Peace Walker was leaked and TLG, that is all.

Rest were predictable except the 14th Fantasy epic & Agent & Modnation Racers

My worry is that there leaking these game sequels to make more room for casual move games. I think Sony might just blow this one in order to hype Move.

I think MS has a smart move to hold 2 conferences, 1 for Natal and the other for actual announcements. I just hope Sony doesn't give us 25 minutes of numbers and PR , 90 minutes of Move casual games and 5 minutes to announce a new game with no trailer ( IE Agent)
