Forums - Sony Discussion - Buy Joe Danger or GTFO

I've never heard of it.

Sell it to me (the ignornant) potential customer :p

A 9 from Game Informer:

Looking forward to: FF Versus XIII / LBP2 / The Last Guardian / Yakuza 4 / ICO Collection

Played it back at the IGF. It's exactly what it looks like in the videos.

So if you think it looks fun, it will be fun. If you think it looks dumb, it will be dumb.

Frankly, I loved it and it's a great time all around (as I thought it looked like from the videos).

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

So, it's Excitebike on drugs?

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Joe Danger broke even on release day!

congrats to the devs!

Sorry guys.  I have given up the belief that somehow myself buying a certain game will make all the difference in the world for an indie developer.  Games should stand on their own right.  Feel free to hype, but when someone tells me my choice is to buy or GTFO, well I guess I should GTFO and pretend the game doesn't exist.  Things are cheaper that way.

Wait, no demo for Joe Danger either?

It's great fun.  You can finish a level pretty easily and there are checkpoints along the way for longer ones.  Once you've done that you can go back and do all the extra stuff - finding coins, doing massive jumps, try and keep a combo up the whole level, etc.  And there is split screen multiplayer.  Not sure about online as I rarely play online anyway.  There's plenty of levels in the campaign but there is also a track editor.
