I've only been for one month and a half in Japan... It wish it would have been so much more! It's a beautiful country, indeed.

Off topic: If you are interested you can see more pictures here, here, here and there. I went to Japan thanks to a scholarship for a course on Eco Tourism management. I got my PS3 slim there by the way.

Diddy's Conquest! I never saw it!

Shame on me. It's one of my favourite games out there.

PS: You should notice also that Diddy is grabbing his banana.

PS2: Those mushrooms were beautiful!

The swastika in Breath of Fire 2 is the one used by Nazis, but it's also been a good luck charm for millennia in cultures all around the world, most notably Indian religions like Hinduism and Buddhism.

The swastika in that Zelda map is the reversed version, which was used by all the other cultures and religions, but NOT by the Nazis.

Nintendo did their homework and covered their asses.  Breath of Fire 2 is an evil Nazi game.

Good for Nintendo then.

And shame on all of you who supported Breath of Fire 2. :P

this is just to funny.

Mario has appeared in over 200 video games so far, has sold over 193 million units of games (all of the Mario series) and even has his own TV cartoon show. Super Mario Bros. 3 alone grossed over $500 million in USA.

I say this is mind-blowing 0.0

the SEGA Mega Drive/Genisis had an add-on in Japan that allowed players to play multiplayer over a phone line. So did the SEGA Saturn . The Dreamcast had a dedicated Online service but it it was discontinued after 11 months in the US.

Starcraft was the first physical game to be taken into space.

Namco developed a controller for the PSone game Ridge Racer 4 it had a steering wheel instead of analog sticks.

The original Fable was going to have 4 player co-op.

FIFA 2001 had a scratch and snif disk that smelt of turf.

If the PC version is anything to go by then it still needed over 200Mb of data, a lot more than the largest N64 game.

The PC version is not a good reference. some cuts can be made like Capcom Did with RE2 (removing the FMVs who were very low quality) and Megaman 64(Legends).

Back on Topic:

Tomb Raider was originally designed with a male lead character

And they decided to make it a woman because the whole developer team used to select women when playing Virtua Fighter.

Later, her name was supposed to be Laura Cruz.

I heard that the Tomb Raiders dev team went with a woman, because they felt it would be more entertaining to look at the back side of a woman than a guy, if you are going to be viewing your character a bunch while playing.
